Here are my notes from our second meeting. Feel free to leave a comment if I’ve missed anything and I will add it in.
- The date for our first event, “Nannup Musician’s Gathering”, will be Sunday 24th March.
- We need to invite musicians who would like to perform.
- We will put together a schedule of acts and leave some space for jamming.
- Posters will be created and put up around town.
- We discussed the idea of incorporating the organisation so that we can apply for grants and make agreements with other local community organisations.
- The idea was presented of choosing a local community organisation for each event that will receive a percentage of funds raised from the event.
- We tentatively chose the name “Nannup Musician’s Club” as the name for the organisation.
